According to The Daily Record, crime is up again in Scotland, in spite of tough gun control laws:
MORE than 1100 gun crimes were recorded in
last year, a rise of 20 per cent. Scotland
There were also 1109 recorded rapes or attempted rapes - up seven per cent on the year before.
The overall number of crimes and offences stood at a record 1,071,075.
Under the new reporting system, police recorded 1165alleged firearm offences in 2004/5.
Guns were used in eight murders, 20 attempted murders and 85 robberies. And the number of people killed or injured by firearms rose by 34 per cent to 325.
Wow. Looks like gun control is really "helping" over there. Given their inverse correlation between strict gun laws and gun crime, perhaps they should ban dieting and outlaw exercise as a way to solve their obesity problem.
